Rodong Sinmun Derides Trump in Dilemma

Oct 28, 2017

Pyongyang,- When interviewed recently by media ahead of his junkets to south Korea and some other Asian countries, Trump said that the U.S. is in "unbelievably full readiness" against "north Korea's provocation" and one will be "greatly shocked" by that full readiness. He also asserted the U.S. "appreciates and encourages a north Korea's neighbor" in its participation in "slapping sanctions against it," terming the relations with that country "extremely exceptional and very good" as that country is "sincerely helping the U.S."

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Saturday says:

What Trump uttered only betrayed his poor image as a spineless politician in dilemma.

As shown by the situation, the Trump administration is leaving no obstructive means untried, exasperated by the DPRK's rapid bolstering of its self-defensive nuclear force.

It recently deployed its strategic assets massively including nuclear aircraft carrier strike groups in the waters off the Korean peninsula and kicked off a war rehearsal against the DPRK, but it was useless.

The same can be said of its sanctions racket against the DPRK. Trump is going busy, hyping "toughest sanctions" but it has also proven ineffective against the DPRK's strong spirit of self-reliance and self-development.

Bluffing is peculiar to half-wits.

The DPRK has already attained its final goal in its great cause of building the state nuclear force. What remains to be done is to demonstrate the mettle of Juche Korea to frustrate the U.S. futile moves and bring peace to the world. The U.S. should clearly understand this.
